These operations are performed in a device for attaching filters to tobacco rods, comprising a rotating carrier drum with longitudinal grooves communicated with a vacuum system and used to move the lengths of the filters. Adhesive tape is fed to the periphery of the carrier drum and held there by suction. A fixed concave plate, coaxially with the carrier drum and spaced apart, which in fact corresponds to the diameter of the cigarette, is connected by friction with the groups, causing them to rotate around adhesive tapes that are wrapped around them and thus connected to each other. However, the concave plate is slightly weakened and thus there is a danger of a complete failure of the machine to install the filters. Indeed, sticky marks remain on the plate during operation of the machine and they collect dust parts of cigarettes, as well as tapes that did not fall on the grztpy. The device for attaching the filters to the tobacco rods comprises a roller 1 with a horizontal axis, supported by the shaft 2 and rotating counterclockwise. At the periphery of the roller, longitudinal grooves 3 are made for products 4 consisting of two tobacco rods and double-length filters arranged between them. Close to roller 1 there is a po-. 5, resting on shaft 6, parallel to shaft 2, provided with peripheral recesses 7. Roller 5 rotates clockwise with the same peripheral speed as roller 1, recesses 7 - are paired with notches 3 and they form into the utricylindrical cavity 8, which connects to a suction source (not shown). The notches 7 are connected through the channels 9, which pass through the cylindrical wall 10 of the roller 5 with the chamber 8. The wall 10 also has a passage through it and between each pair of notches 7 of the holes or aisles 11. The roller 12 with a horizontal axis resting on the shaft 13 is located closely with the lower left surface of the roller 5 and is provided with notches 14 equally spaced, the inner surface of which corresponds to the notches 3 and 7. The roller 12 rotates counterclockwise with the same peripheral at a speed similar to that of the roller 5, the recesses 14 are mated in series with the recesses 7. A strip 15 of paper material is glued on top, taken from a roller (not shown) and fed by means (not shown) tangentially to the periphery of roller 5 at a speed of movement which is less than the peripheral speed of the latter. The edge of the belt 15 touches the roller 5 and is held tightly with it by suction through the holes 11. A cylindrical brush 24 is rigidly fixed on the shaft 23 in such a way that it contacts the work area 22. The suction effect applied to the surface of the roller 5 through the holes 8 and 11 is not enough. As a consequence, in the cavity 8, the arc walls 25 and 26 are fastened, respectively, coaxially with the roller 5 and adapted to the inner surface of the cylindrical wall 10 in the area of the mentioned areas. During operation, the devices of the product 4 are transmitted sequentially from the recesses 3 of the roller 1 to the recesses 7 of the roller 5 and are held in the last f by suction effect through the holes 9. After the strips 18 are separated from the belt 15 by the knife 16, they remain on the roller 5 due to the suction effect exerted through the apertures 11. When the roller position is reached, the groups are connected by friction with the section 21 of the element 19 and are wound on the respective strips 18, which are wound around them, connecting one element with another.
